Ronald Chavez has been a distinguished litigation attorney in California handling a wide variety of cases for over 35 years. The primary focus of most of his career has been the defense of builders, general contractors, and subcontractors in construction defect cases. However, he has also defended physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other health care providers in medical malpractice cases; manufacturers, sellers, distributers and other in the supply chain parties in product liability cases; and mortgage bankers sued by secondary market loan purchasers seeking repurchase of mortgage loans as a result on alleged fraud or negligent underwiring practices. Ronald has also represented plaintiffs in personal injury and construction contract cases. He provides counseling to employers on the avoidance of suits due to alleged race, sex, age, and national origin discrimination. Ronald has arbitrated and tried numerous matters throughout his career.
Ronald enjoys ocean shoe fishing in San Diego County on weekends and preparing near gourmet meals with his wife.
